I wonder who put 5 star review because the reality is the exact opposite. A builder whose knowledge about building is so poor that I wonder about why he is working as a builder. Ask him a question and he will claim that he is a qualified engineer and don't worry about the details but the person is hiding his flaws. Reported him to the office of fair trading and all I got back were lies and lies and total dereliction of his responsibilities.

The builder indulges in deceptive practices and it starts from the time he provides a quote and a contract. He will underquote first. His contract will state that any defects need to be reported within 12 weeks of work. Reality is that NSW law allows for minor defects can be reported for upto 2 years. Report any defect and he will ignore deflect and avoid.

On Joshpat's website, it states that "we keep you in the loop". Nothing can be further than the truth. This is a builder who has got poor project management and building skills. He will hire the cheapest tradesperson to do the job and will do no quality check. And with poor quality tradespeople the job is also poor quality. And because they know that he is not going to come and visit, they also don't care. Here is his summary of rating. Project management skills rating 0/10 Skills as a builder 0/10 Willingness to do the job properly 0/10 Willingness to do the job on time 0/10 On top of that, he threatens his own clients and asks them to make the payment even if the milestone is not completed.

In reality, Joshpat deserves 0 stars. While working on my project, he lost interest in my project. I found out later on that in reality he had taken up a full time job elsewhere. The project got delayed by many months. Had to chase him with many phone calls and he wouldn't respond for days sometimes weeks. Ask him any details and he would brush me off and he would state that he is a qualified engineer and don't worry about the details. In reality, it was a ploy to not provide the details and an excuse to delay the project without providing any reason. The quality of the work was really shoddy.
