Joondalup Business Centre

Background The Centre was established in 2003 following the receipt of grant funding from the Commonwealth Department of Employment, Workplace Relations and Small Business as part of their Business Incubator program. The City of Joondalup and LotteriesWest also provided additional funding, while ECU provided the land and a significant financial contribution. Since 2005 the Centre has been the most successful business incubator in Western Australia, and the most successful facility of its kind in Australia, with 100 per cent occupancy rate. The Centre was extended in 2011 to add almost 200m2 of additional office space. Management The Centre has been managed since 2005 by a professional management company, Artisan Developments, who have a wealth of small business experience and expertise. Artisan Developments are widely recognised as one of Australia’s foremost companies in their field. Business Support The management team provides a range of business support services including business planning advice, business mentoring, sales and marketing advice, human resources advice, bookkeeping advice, risk management advice, business writing services and advice, training advice, import export advice, information technology advice. Reception and Secretarial Services The management team offers a comprehensive range of reception and secretarial services including, photocopying, printing, laminating and binding. Location ECU Business & Innovation Centre is ideally situated in the heart of Joondalup, which is rapidly establishing itself as the centre for innovation in Western Australia. We are adjacent to Joondalup Learning Precinct and Joondalup train station, and only two minutes from the Mitchell Freeway. There is ample free parking onsite for tenants and their clients.
