Jarrod Carland Enterprises is a boutique production house based in Melbourne, Australia, established by Jarrod Carland in 2008. Currently Jarrod Carland is Executive Director of the successful Hobart Baroque, a festival in Hobart, Tasmania focused on music of the 17th and 18th centuries. The festival in two short years has established itself as a major player on the international music scene, and providing large amount of tourism for the state of Tasmania. After returning from living and working in New York, Jarrod Carland was Associate Producer for Andrea Bocelli in Concert, which toured to Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, seen by over 55, 000 people. Jarrod was also Executive Producer of the brand new production of the Australian and New Zealand tour of Avenue Q . The production toured for 12 months to 6 cities, and won 5 Helpmann Awards. Whilst basing himself in New York, Jarrod worked as Mr. Mel Brooks on the Broadway production of Young Frankenstein: The New Mel Brooks Musical (and the Broadway cast recording). Prior to that, he trained in General Management with Ms. Laura Green at Richard Frankel Productions, working on the Broadway productions of The Producers, Hairspray and Young Frankenstein (pre-production), and the workshop of the upcoming Broadway production of Alan Menken's Leap of Faith .
