Horan & Bird are five-time winners of Master Electricians of the Year and five-time winners of Solar Installers of the Year. We are proud winners of the Australian Small Business of the Year in 2012, and Regional Employer of the Year in 2014.
Founded in 2004, Horan & Bird are the pioneers of solar in Australia. Founder, John Horan, was one of the original importers of solar panels into the country. Years later, the company now has helped over 30, 000 customers nationwide and John is now the president of Master Electricians Australia. Making solar safe and affordable is our passion.

In 2015, Horan & Bird was featured in the Australian Financial Review as a finalist in the BRW Mid Cap Company Of The Year. At the end of a very successful year, Origin Energy acquired Horan & Bird.

In 2016, we became the largest commercial solar company in Australia with customers such as Kia, Audi, Subway, Harley Davidson, Reece, Woolworths, and many more.

In 2020, Horan & Bird left the Origin Group and merged with the Leading Renewable Energy Fund, Juice Capital led by Jay Howard and Stew Gall.
