Managing Director of Hooker Engineering is Michael Hooker. Before setting up the business, Michael had 15 years’ experience in mechanical and hydraulic engineering and has been involved in a range of mining and material handling projects in WA. In addition, his international experience includes the challenges of commissioning and maintenance of projects in Africa and Papua New Guinea. Michael qualified as a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of WA. However, it is Michael’s extensive experience at the design desk and in the field which makes all the difference to the services Hooker Engineering offers. Hooker Engineering provides project engineering services to a broad range of industries, both local and international. We can provide engineering services only or we design, supply, manufacture, install and commission as required by our clients. The Hooker team’s experience is extensive and comprehensive. We have applied our mechanical and hydraulic power transmission strengths to an extensive range of industry sectors. Importantly, we take a turnkey approach to our work and have the ability to merge all disciplines — hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation — with site installation and commissioning.
