Highland Smash Repairs has been operating for the people of Brisbane since 1953. Fred Harvey purchased the business in 1983 operating from a humble premises in Golda Avenue, Salisbury with Ernie Bushell. Over the next 3 years, the business became a well respected Smash Repairer growing from strength to strength employing qualified staff from the local community. In 1986 Fred and Ernie moved to the much larger and current premises in Standish Street, Salisbury allowing for expansion and the opportunity for accreditation as Recommended Repairers for many Insurance Companies such as Suncorp, RACQ and Allianz. The year 2000 saw many changes to the business with the introduction of the GST and the retirement of Ernie Bushell. Upon Ernie’s retirement, Fred continued to upgrade and expand the business to its current form today. In 2004 Ray Iversen - The Manager of Highlands for some 17 years was invited to be a partner with Fred Harvey. Ray’s experience and dedication to Highland Smash Repairs has seen the business increase in productivity and efficiency and has inspired the employees to see Highlands as their own company. Both Ray and Fred take pride in the fact that they are significant members of the Repair industry operating a successful and professional business earning them an excellent reputation from both colleagues and clients alike. With 25 employees and an annual average motor vehicle repair of over 2500 motor vehicles, Highlands is one of the country’s leading repairers.00am -2.00pm.
