Since our incorporation in 1980, Hiemac has developed into Australia’s largest manufacturer and installer of high-tech apparel handling equipment, conveyors and textile machinery. Occupying a 1500 square meter modern factory in Thornbury, fitted with the latest engineering equipment and computer aided design facilities, the factory is staffed by a close-knit talented group of engineers, tradesmen, clerical and sales people all dedicated to producing quality and efficient outcomes. A substantial part of our yearly budget is earmarked for research and development endeavouring to give our clients the best possible equipment and service, and to keep Hiemac at the forefront of the apparel and textile industry. Hiemac have built up an excellent reputation over the years for quality and service. We have a large corporate client-base and have produced some very sophisticated conveying systems, special equipment and textile machinery for many companies throughout Australia and internationally. The company has exported equipment to the United States, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Fiji, Yangon, Singapore and South Africa, and is planning to increase its exports at the same time as increasing the steady growth of the Australian home market.
