Description
Reiki is an energy healing practice that originated in Japan. The practice of Reiki is simple, natural, and safe. It promotes healing, helps to reduce stress and supports relaxation. The practitioner channels universal energy that we all have access to. That energy treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit. Some of the many benefits of reiki include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
The fundamental belief of Reiki is that when our energy is low, we feel poorly and overwhelmed by life. When our energy is high, we feel more positive, well and serene.
Different people feel different things during and after a Reiki treatment. Most people report an overwhelming sense of relaxation, joy and warmth. Some speak of seeing beautiful colours and feeling other sensations that make them feel wonderful.
We also give reiki classes that are held over a weekend and located in the Grampians.
