Dr Hamilton is a registered medical practitioner, specialist plastic surgeon, specialist registration in Surgery plastic surgery (S/N: 963). Dr Richard Hamilton has 30 years experience as a plastic surgeon. The founder of our Adelaide, South Australia practice, Dr Hamilton grew up in Adelaide and graduated in medicine from the Adelaide University Medical School. In the following 10 years he trained in plastic surgery at major hospital units in Sweden, New Zealand, Melbourne and in his hometown, Adelaide. Dr Hamilton gained his specialist qualification Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, FRACS. The Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons title is awarded to surgeons who have complete a minimum of 12 years of medical and surgical education, including at least 5 years of postgraduate training.
