Hair by Phd was established in 1968 and was one of the first unisex Hair Salons in Parramatta. Since that time our aim and focus is to give you, our client, the highest possible level of service and excellence in hairdressing along with great value for money. We give you the attention you deserve and most of all we listen to your needs. The team is lead by Sarkis Akle and Louise Akle. With over 40 years experience between them they are committed to leading a team of very talented hair stylists, with a training program that is second to none and is widely talked about in the hairdressing industry. We specialise in all colour work including colour correction, Balayage and all forms of highlighting. We also offer services such as Hair Extensions, Keratin Hair Treatments and formal styling for weddings and special events. ‘Hair cutting is about cutting shape into a client’s hair not just cutting for the sake of cutting’ says Director Sarkis Akle who attends the Schwarzkopf Essential Looks Collection twice a year, as well as travelling overseas and working in academy’s such as the world famous Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in London. ‘I love to give back what I have learnt to my staff, to share with all their clients, because at the end of the day seeing my staff grow as stylist’s and seeing their clients walking out of our salon looking and feeling a million dollars, makes what I do extremely rewarding.’ Hair by Phd has a 100% Iron Clad Guarantee.
