HA AUTO REPAIRS(Mobile Mechanic), Epping, VIC

I recently used this mechanic company for a service and RWC and was left quite disappointed. Firstly, I was given a quote with the works required. One of the line items was marked as not crucial at this time and could be left for the next service, so I specifically asked for all the other items to be completed except for that one. Despite this, it was still carried out, and when I asked why, I was ignored. Secondly, I dropped my car off in the morning and was told it would be ready for pick-up by 4:30pm. When I called at that time, I was told it wouldn’t be ready until the next day at 10:00am because the RWC was “taking longer.” The next day, I contacted them at 12:54pm (after receiving no response to my text messages) and was told the works were still not finished. I was then assured the car would leave their yard at 2:00pm and arrive at mine by 2:30pm. At 2:30pm, when nothing had arrived, I called again and was told, “oh, we are leaving now.” Lastly, I had asked multiple times at the start whether the total price would remain as quoted or potentially be higher depending on the works. In the end, I was charged $360 more than the original quote. While I understand unexpected costs can arise, transparency is crucial and would have avoided a lot of trouble. On top of this, their tone throughout the process was quite dismissive. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
