When I collected my car on the 3rd of November I checked over my car and found the following; - My aerial wire was cut. - My lightbar wire was cut. - The window trimming to my back window was not put back on properly and was hanging across my back window. - There were 3 poles sitting in my back seat that allegedly aren't for my car. - My car key was smashed and is now unusable by one of their staff members to which they admitted to. They then made me pay to get it fixed which costed me $100 because they didn’t want to admit fault that they broke the key. - My nudge bar was taken off to repair the front end, with this they then proceeded to tell me I needed to organise a new nudge bar and go to their repair shop in Clontarf to choose a nudge bar which shouldn’t be up to me as a customer. I only wanted a replica of the original one. Forward a few months and they got the wrong nudge bar in to which they had to order a new one 6 months later and I finally have my car fixed. - My UHF INISDE my car is now frayed and exposed wires are shown. They had no reason to be inside my car so this should not have happened. - The hard wires holding my tailgate up were supposed to be fixed as well as the tailgate itself to which they did not complete this. - 6 months down the track to finally get my nudge bar put onto my car, Colin then proceeded to get mad at me because I couldn’t get down there that week due to working to which I sorted out a date to go down there and get it put onto my car. With this Colin told me on Multiple occasions over the phone it would only take 2 hours as he “just wants to get my car done and out of here”. I went on about my day and went to Chermside for an appointment, I called up at 12:40pm to which he proceeded to tell me it was going to be a couple more hours, Now if I had of known this I would’ve organised a way home instead of wasting my day waiting around. To which I then had a breakdown because I was stuck at a shopping centre with no way home or anywhere. After already being there for 4hours I was already exhausted so to add another 2hours on top frustrated me. When I picked up the car at 2:40pm Colin proceeded to tell me “The cheap Ariel that you had on the car would work so we had to get you a better one” when in fact my Ariel was not cheap and was a good decent thick Ariel. For a business owner to say this to a customer is Appalling. The stress this company has put me under with trying to get repairs done for my car has mentally and emotionally been way too much for me, With trying to organise hire cars because this company did not have the repairs completed within the agreed timeframe. On the 29th of October I was told that my car would be ready for pickup, I had organised to drop the hire car off to hertz and get around to the repairs shop. Once I had gotten to the Shop I was told that they had mixed up my car and another car and that my car was not going to be ready for another 5 Business days, at this stage it had been already 2 weeks. Once I told them, I didn't have a way around. They then expected me to pay an additional $70 per day for the hire car from Hertz. Once I had let them know my frustration and informed them that I still have to get around for work. They then wanted me to go out of my way to pick up their personal hire car.
