Grainland was founded by three local farming families in 1993 with the purchase of a seed grading business at 431 Gosport Street Moree. The business soon grew to include Farm Machinery with the importation of Farm King and Wheatheart Augers from Canada. The adjoining block was purchased a few years later allowing the Rural Merchandise side of the business to expand. In 2005 Grainland established a new much larger seed grading plant on the Burrington Road a few kilometers out of town. This freed up much needed space at the Gosport Street Premises for the assembly of augers and the expansion of the Merchandise and Machinery Hire business. Grainland offers a diverse range of goods and services including Seed Sales, Grain Handling Equipment, Rural Merchandise, Machinery Hire, Machinery and Storage Sheds, Grain Cleaning and Storage as well as Grain Testing and Sampling Equipment.
