About Dr Kim McLauchlan. Hello, I'm Dr Kim McLauchlan and I'd like to welcome you to my Practice. My goal is to make your dental experience the best you have ever had. I am particularly committed to being the most gentle dentist you have ever experienced, and I take great pride in the level of care that we offer you. I have been in Practice for over 25 years, and there have been many exciting advances in Dentistry in that time. For this reason, it is very important to me to continue to update my knowledge by attending courses and seminars, so as to provide you with the best treatment options available. It is also important to me to offer you a relaxed and comfortable office environment, with staff that are also committed to your care. Gentle Dental is proud to be located in one of Hawthorn's most historic buildings. 781 Glenferrie Rd was built in 1921 and has the unique distinction of being the first purpose built dental practice in Melbourne, having always been a dental practice and never a dwelling. Consequently three generations of dentists have now practiced at this address. 781 Glenferrie Rd is a living example of the old world fusing with the new. We have extensively renovated and equipped the practice with state of the art, modern facilities while still retaining the original architectural features and charm. Gentle Dental's principal Dr Kim McLauchlan has 30 years of experience as a dental surgeon, with a particular emphasis on updating her knowledge through continuing education in order to provide you with the best treatment options available.
