Gecko Canoeing, one of the, began offering nature based canoeing and kayaking experiences in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory in 1994 and soon after added bushwalking and trekking experiences to our range of wilderness immersions. We now offer paddling experiences on the Katherine River and the Ord River in the famous East Kimberley, hiking on the Jatbula Trail and the Dreaming Place Trail in the Nitmiluk National Park, Kakadu Twin Falls Trail in the Kakadu National Park. We also arrange special interest tours and private charters. Gecko Canoeing and Trekking provides immersive small group nature based touring in some of the most remote nature destinations in the Northern Territory. Our goal is to effectively interpret the natural, cultural and heritage aspects of the environment, whilst protecting our environment through raising awareness of sustainable tourism.
