I am quite confused with the inaccurate and uncalled for comments made against me on this platform. I am aware of the gate in question and this being the third gate I have produced on these premises for this customer spanning the last 6 years we are obviously not strangers to each other, however, to have these comments given by a person I have had no dealings with or know of in the name of Sam Wright is more confusing. Let me begin. Late last year at approximately 7am one morning I received several phone calls, messages, text messages and emails urgently wanting me to visit the property to re install a gate that a truck had hit and damaged, of which we did within 1 to 2 hours of the accident to secure the property. I took photographs for the customer to send to their Insurance Company for a claim. I also fabricated and rushed through a new gate 2 weeks prior to Christmas to help get things moving quicker for them knowing the delays involved over the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately in the rush the gate was powdercoated the wrong colour of which I put my hands up to, but also had the gate repowdercoated. Added to this there were some markings left on the gate from the repowdercoating of which the customer wanted an additional large sum of money off the price of the gate and in good faith I agreed to do so. The gate was then accepted, installed and paid for. The only other installation required was the gate motor and as the customers requirements on that side of things were vast and complicated and having nothing to do with the installation of motors I suggested that the customer deal with and pay the motor company directly, having organized quotations giving the customer my fabricators pricing to help save them additional costs. As always I have been nothing but helpful, courteous and assisted above and beyond in any way possible throughout this process so I am at a complete loss as to understand at which point in time my customer service became poor and negligent or I left a gate half functioning, ( is this referring to the motor of which the motor company is dealing with??? I do not know as I have never been been contacted about this. A simple phone call I would have thought). Within the completion of my scope of works in supplying and installing a new gate I have assisted the customer with cost savings, the insurance claim process and a very large remuneration and as at to date, I have had no calls, emails or any contact from the customer to convey any kind of grievance, dissatisfaction or a half functioning gate. All I have had are these trashing comments which are not valid made by an unknown person on a business social platform. Go figure???
