Garlands vision was originally conceived by founder Shane Garland. His flagship store at the city end of Oxford Street featured a fresh and innovative approach, attention to detail as well as competitive pricing - and became an instant favourite with residents in the area. Current owner, Ferdinando de Freitas, acquired the business not long after its doors opened and he continued to build on the original concept whilst bringing his passion and exceptional talents to the business. Today, Garlands is situated in the historic " Chapel " within the St. Margarets precinct near Taylor Square in Surry Hills. The round, glass-fronted building is an ideal showcase for the enticing displays of the freshest flowers in season, unique and exotic blooms, potted plants and all items that nature has to offer. Ferdinando's heart and vision is embedded in every aspect of the store and his passion and dedication to flowers and customer service are second to none.
