Poor attitude coupled with a total lack of empathy and customer service provided by the female partner in this business has made me extremely disappointed and frustrated with what should have been a pleasant experience. Initially the male business owner was lovely, however when I called for further specification/information relating to my purchase which was on back-order, he wasn't available and the response received from the female business partner from the moment she answered the phone in a short, stressed manner…. just got worse. She was flustered, rude, abrupt and unhelpful – but more importantly…gave me INCORRECT information! I attempted a second call a few days later to reconfirm, and received the EXACT same flustered, rude response. It felt like I was a complete inconvenience! Due to incorrect measurements being given, I'm now left having to pay extra to have an independant handy man fix my water feature - and the female owner's response "it's not my problem - it's your fault for relying on the phone measurements given - you should have picked up the trough prior to having your limestone pond built." :-( She insisted that the incorrect information given was not her responsibility in any way and was entirely my fault, and she was not interested in any way to assist in rectifying this issue. Not sure what has happened to good old fashioned friendly helpful service…perhaps I was asking too much to have them check the correct manufacturers specifications/measurements for the water feature. I thought it was a simple and reasonable request, and had this been done, and the correct information passed on politely, I would not have found the need to write this negative review. Definitely wouldn't recommend buying your water feature or supporting this local business. Having said that, the male business owner is calm and most helpful but if you're unfortunate to phone or call in on a day when the female partner is on duty asking for assistance, then you're out of luck!
