Furr Hair is moving to 190 King Street, Newtown, next door to Industrial Strength and King Street Tattoo. Furr Hair by John Velvet is all about street edge hair styling and fashion. Our salon is dedicated to creating hair that enhances and expresses your personality and style. Hair artistry is an incredibly personal service and is one that should be enjoyed. Our creative approach to hair is strongly built upon the foundation of technical excellence, so whether you are after a simple, strong shape or something completely wild, our team of stylists look forward to meeting you. The team at Furr are incredibly passionate about creating strong, vibrant, dramatic hair colour. We use Manic Panic vegan hair dyes to create the amazing vibrant colour work that we are famous for. Furr Hair is renown for amazing colour correction and platinum blonde work that we do on a regular basis. The salon also caters to more natural colour work through the use of block colour, partial colour and balyage. The salon does not do streaks or highlights. Furr is very accessible by public transport, with both Newtown and Macdonaldtown train stations nearby and several bus services at the front door. Furr is located in the heart of King Street Newtown next to the Newtown Hotel, opposite Kuletos cocktail lounge and near the intersection of King Street and Missenden Road.
