First Choice Credit Union has long prided itself on our reputation as a community invested, customer service focused financial institution. At First Choice Credit Union we strive to maintain this reputation by providing our members with the best of all worlds with quality, friendly, face to face service in conjunction with the very latest in technological services.

Originally known as Calare Credit Union, First Choice Credit Union was formed in 1970 by staff from Canobolas, Boree and Molong Shires (now Cabonne Shire Council) and Orange City Council. Over the years the bond has been extended to include all residents of New South Wales and First Choice Credit Union now has over 4000 members.

A Credit Union is a financial co-operative owned and operated by a group of people who agree to assist each other by saving together and then lending these savings to one another at a reasonable rate of interest. Credit Unions are not-for-profit organisations, run by elected members who form a boa.
