Findlay Engineering was established in 1987 beginning as a four man engineering business situated in Ballarat. Now, in its modern engineering workshop and design offices located in the Wendouree Industrial Park in Ballarat, Findlay Engineering continues to grow and is currently employing around 50 staff specializing in all aspects of design, fabrication and installation. And we are still growing! The key to the continual growth and success of Findlay s has been the strength in management processes, fairness and opportunity of employees and vision for the future. Chris Findlay, the founder and Company Director, drives this continually growing firm. Working closely with his brother Duane in management, decision making and direction, they have been able to implement business strategies and processes which have enabled the firm to attract a team of specialists in all aspects of engineering services. THE TEAM At Findlay Engineering, our belief is that we are only as good as the people we employ, and their abilities. Our TEAM is built of a wide range of age levels from apprentice level to fully qualified tradesmen, all with varying strengths in industry experience, qualities and personal traits which make up this successful package. The Structural Steel Fabrication Shop consists of boilermakers and structural steel fabricators and is used for the manufacture and assembly of components and machinery specific to our clients needs. The machine shop is situated separately from the fabrication workshop at the rear of business and incorporates CNC Machining Centres, CNC Lathes and a wide variety of non-automated lathes and milling machines.
