Optometrist and proprietor, Stephen Bowes, came to the West from Newcastle, New South Wales in January 1979, following six years of tertiary education which led to the awards of Bachelor of Science by the University of Sydney and Bachelor of Optometry by the University of NSW.

A general practice Optometrist, Steve has special clinical interests in the visual development of children and in contact lenses. To remain skilled and keep abreast of new knowledge in the ever changing world of Optometry and Visual Science, he regularly undertakes continuing professional education beyond that which is required by the Optometrists Association Australia.
