Estia Health Altona Meadows is a warm and welcoming home, located on Queen Street, a few minutes’ walk from the Central Square Shopping Centre and other local services. A well-established home, with many long-serving team members, it’s a close-knit community for residents and their families that choose to call it their home. The home is built across two levels and offers a range of rooms including single rooms with ensuites, some with shared bathrooms and companion rooms for couples or friends. There are spacious and comfortable shared living areas including two balconies, with the sheltered Tuscany balcony a popular place for our residents and visitors to enjoy a cup of tea while looking out across the city skyline. Within the landscaped gardens, secluded courtyards and a paved entertaining area offer space to enjoy the outdoors. Residents enjoy visits from entertainers and churches and kindergarten and school children who are involved in arts and crafts and exercise programs. The home’s team includes experienced clinicians, carers and hospitality teams looking after all aspects of a resident's care including clinical, social and overall wellbeing and offer dementia and palliative care services, which can be accessed as short-term respite care or for a longer stay. Our onsite chef and his team cook fresh daily to meet residents’ preferences.
