Small hands on cooking classes and courses are structured around practical cookery for home cooks. There is no attempt to emulate restaurant style dining and fussy meals. You will be exposed to new ways of considering and understanding food and eating. Menus draw upon interesting, seasonal ingredients that command a variety of skills that work to create relaxed, unpretentious, simple, healthy meals, that anyone would be proud to present to their friends or family.
Emphasis is given on how to identify the best quality, locally available, seasonal produce and how to maximise the investment you make in the food you grow or purchase, and prepare. You will learn how to become a critical and informed consumer and to be clever about how you sustain and nourish yourself and those you care for.
