Our founding Managing Director, Maurie Young, started Education Supply Company Pty Ltd, commonly known as EDSCO, in 1985. A former Queensland, primary school Principal with 28 years experience, Maurie could see the need for a local education supply company to focus on quality products at reasonable prices, delivered on time with no fuss. From very humble beginnings on a mezzanine floor in Newstead, EDSCO has grown to a most impressive Superstore with over 20 employees all committed to the founding philosophies and processes - ensuring the continuation of Maurie’s early vision.
