I love the peas pastizzi however I just cannot eat the so called ricotta pastizzi. I have no clue what they are filled with but its not ricotta, a small percentage of the filling could be ricotta but it cannot be that much. We just eat the pastry and throw away the filling. I've eaten pastizzi in Malta going back many decades and as recently as last year and they are definitely much better over there, they are also bigger and much cheaper too. Why can't we make a decent pastizzi here in Australia?
