All surgeons and anesthetists apply for clinical privileges by submitting specific documentation to be able to practice at this facility. In addition there is a Medical Advisory Committee which oversees their practice and performance. Our Business and Clinical Services Manager is responsible for the quality of care provided as well as the competence, attitude and performance of the nursing and administrative staff. All nursing staff are experienced in the areas they work, and are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Our nurses undertake annual mandatory training in life support, infection control, manual handling and fire and safety. In addition, there is further training sessions throughout the year to ensure best practice.
