Ian Dunwoodie- As a practicing lawver over the last 30 years, there are not many things that I haven’t seen or legal problems that i haven’t been able to ¿nd a solution for.

I commenced practice in 1981 and worked for the next 16 vears in several of Australia’s leading national and international law ¿rms including Freehills and Henry Davis York. This gave me a wealth of experience and government instrumentalities.

During this time I also worked for several years as the Senior Property Lawyer at the Maritime Services Board. This experience has proved invaluable when dealing with clients buving waterfront property with jetties or other water access. As lawyer with responsibility for the commercial property activities for the port facilities in Sydney, Harbour, Port Botany, and the Ports of Kenbla and Newcastle, I had hands on management of major commercial property deals at the highest level.

In 1997 we established I C Dunwoodie & Associates in Martin Place and in 2001 the practice merged with F M Beck & Associates of Double Bay to form Beck Dunwoodie & Associates (Now Dunwoodie Legal). At the time we moved to our present convenient location in Edgecliff in the commercial heart of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

In my current practice I have continued to provide quality legal advice to private clients, high net worth individuals, corporations and discerning clients on a wide range of personal, commercial and property related matters.
