Description
The Dunsborough hardware centre was founded by R. J. McNally & Co back in 1958 to service the small township of Dunsborough and surrounding districts. Ray McNally was Dunsborough's sole local builder and operated the hardware store in conjunction with his building company. In 1967, having just left school, Peter Baxter approached Ray McNally for a job and was soon put to work as an apprentice brick layer. Winding the clock forwarrd to June 1999, the opportunity arrived for Peter Baxter to return to the Dunsborough Hardware business. Peter, Margaret and their son Scott have been operating the business ever since.
