If anyone is considering using this surgeon, I would really urge you to seek a second opinion. Eight weeks ago I had a breast reduction by Dr Tew, they are uneven, different shapes and sizes, the nipples are revolting and sometimes look like they lack blood supply and look almost transparent. It has been an extremely painful experience. I also encourage ALL women over the age of 40 to have both a mammogram and an ultra-sound before they let any doctor operate on your breasts. Don't end up like me - This surgeon didn't insist on my having either despite my mother having had breast cancer - Now, 5 weeks after my reduction surgery - I have breast cancer. I'm going back into hospital for a double mastectomy.
