Dr Clare Bouffler is a highly trained Upper Gastrointestinal, General and Bariatric Surgeon in Sydney’s north west – with a special interest in oesophageal & gastric cancers, complex hiatus hernias and acid reflux (heartburn).

Dr Bouffler also performs minimally-invasive bariatric surgeries including the gastric sleeve and gastric bypass.

Consulting on Mondays at Nepean and Tuesdays at Norwest, she operates at Nepean Public Hospital, Nepean Private Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital.

With her FRACS in General Surgery and extensive post-fellowship training in oesophago-gastric surgery in Australia and the United Kingdom, Dr Bouffler can treat the full gamut of adult Upper GI conditions from the common to the complex. Her rigorous training means she can offer her patients the most advanced treatments for difficult-to-treat cancers of the stomach and oesophagus.
