Digger2Hire provides mini excavator dry hire from Cannon Hill for residential, DIY and trade projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas. We focus on making compact excavator hire straightforward: a quality machine, a useful attachment package, clear pricing and direct contact with the local operator.

Our Brisbane machine is a brand-new Kubota U17-3 1.7 tonne mini excavator. At approximately 990 mm wide with the tracks retracted, it is a practical option for many residential jobs where side access matters. The U17-3 is well suited to suitable trenching, drainage, landscaping, retaining-wall preparation, post holes, garden excavation and general site preparation.

U17-3 dry hire is $250 per day, with no GST added. The confirmed attachment package is included with no separate daily attachment hire charges. The package includes a 300 mm toothed bucket, 450 mm toothed bucket, 1,000 mm mud bucket with bolt-on edge, ripper, Auger Torque X2000 drive unit, 300 mm and 450 mm augers, and a hydraulic rock grabber where suitable for the confirmed hire.

Digger2Hire is dry hire only, which means you operate the excavator yourself. First-time operators are welcome for suitable jobs. At handover, we can run through the machine controls and basic operation so you can become familiar with the excavator before starting work.

Local delivery and collection are available for $150 within approximately 20 km where applicable, with longer distances quoted individually. Approved customer collection from Cannon Hill can also be arranged by appointment. Customer collection requires a suitable tow vehicle rated to at least 2,500 kg braked towing capacity, a compatible functioning electric brake controller, a current full open driver licence and comprehensive vehicle insurance. The exact towing arrangement must be approved before collection.
