Description
We teach students to design and make their own sterling silver and gold jewellery. Techniques from soldering to enamel, doming and gem setting explored.
Small groups receive individual tuition in a professional studio, overlooking a garden. All tools and equipment are supplied and students create rings, bangles, pendants, earrings, and many other specialised pieces. We also make one-off bespoke jewellery for select clients.
Company description
Beginner classes to more advanced students meet here weekly to continue exploring their creative pursuits. In a relaxed, co-operative atmosphere, students receive tuition at their own pace and work to their individual skill level. We begin by learning to use all the tools of a professional jeweller and move on to exploring the unlimited possibilities of metal and stone. An encouraging, creative atmosphere, enables comfortable learning and production. A real release from competitive, deadline driven work environment or an escape from stresses of everyday life. Like any art form, creating jewellery can be a very meditative and rewarding experience.
