Décor It started in 2000, when the founders Gian and Fiona Blundo identified an opportunity in the provision of products in a professional and innovative way to the reception centre industry. Fiona and Gian chose to use their respective skills developed in the corporate sector to provide to retail and commercial customers. Fiona has a diploma in Interior Design and Decoration, while Gian has a BA in Business - Hotel Management and a Post Grad in Marketing. Fiona drives the provision of unique, creative and innovative products and services, whilst Gian manages the operational, business and hospitality aspects. Together they create the perfect blend of skills and expertise to produce such unique offerings. In 2004 Décor it out grew the existing facilities and relocated to a larger warehouse . This in turn allowed the business to expand the product ranges available. In 2005 Décor It were asked to provide linen for the Cox Plate. This high profile event was a great success and helped increase the rate of growth of the business and the size of the client base. Décor It is now preferred supplier to several venues around Melbourne, as well as leading event managers, caterers and other prominent reception centers. Fiona now continues to focus on providing innovative and unique designs including a comprehensive range of customized linen. In 2007 the business moved towards more of a corporate direction and now supplies larger firms such as audio visual companies, event managers, and sporting clubs.
