Deborah Woodwell is a self-taught artist for over thirty years who works primarily in pastel, pencil and charcoal. Deborah spent her life growing up in and around the Australian bushland, experiencing the beauty of nature with a very hands-on childhood. Wildlife, nature and pets were all a tremendous influence on Deborah and a very colse bond with these ensued. From an early age, Deborah strived to replicate and capture the realism in her works. She constantly pushes her boundaries to broaden her creative abilities and capture both the soul and the realism in all her works. Her works have been sold locally, nationally and internationally. Her studio is located in a small, rural village in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.
