DCI Industries began in 2010 in the ACT and since that time has seen many changes, challenges, hardships and growth. As many first-time electrical businesses go, Simon began DCI Industries as a competent electrician but with no real business training. While there is a lot to be said for just getting in and giving it a go, there is also a lot of lessons to learn the hard way. The early years saw an array of vehicles come and go as small budgets meant less than ideal work vehicles. It all began in the back of an ex-taxi Ford Falcon and then progressed to an old Toyota Dyna truck that unfortunately didn't last very long before it blew the motor.
