Coles Retail Stores BOORAGOON

A week ago we bought some prawns on a Friday. They went straight into the fridge at home within 5 minutes after a 5 minute drive home in an air conditioned car. Still wrapped up in the Coles wrapping we got them ready for a dinner party about 5 PM Saturday......the next day. They were smelly and soft. We phoned your store and explained what had happened and within 45 minutes one of your very nice staff delivered, not only our half a kilo of replacement king prawns, but an extra kilo to say sorry for the mistake. This was entirely unexpected and we consider it to be not only a very nice gesture on behalf of the management at the Coles Booragoon store, but absolutely outstanding service, particularly on a Saturday afternoon.. The man who delivered them was called Matt who was on his way home.......which was no-where near where we live. We found him to be exceptionally polite and efficient. This is only being written because in the world we live in, too many people are too quick to complain. And we all know that not enough recognise good service.
