Just been to Warwick Grove shopping centre and decided to get my shoes heeled while I waited. There were no other customers and the employee wasn't busy however he told me he couldn't heel my shoes as I was wearing them. When I pointed out that I wouldn't be wearing them as he would be working on them, he said I could walk off whilst he was working on them and sustain an injury to my foot and then I could sue Cobbler Plus! I told him I had no intention of walking off in my bare feet (Im a 60 year old woman) and was happy to stand or sit and wait for them, but he said it didn't matter as I COULD walk off! Is this Health and Safety gone mad? Please tell me this isn't Cobbler Plus's policy!
