A STRONG NEED FOR CNC PERSONNEL A survey of the manufacturing employment opportunities in the metropolitan areas reveals that there is a strong need for personnel with advanced manufacturing skills. Positions include setup and process personnel, equipment operators, CNC programmers, and managers. The analytical nature of the required skills makes it difficult to develop with on-the-job training as a single way.
