Champion Sports Grounds was founded in 2011 by Neil Thomas. 18 years ago, Neil Thomas started building naturally turfed, synthetic grass surfaced and asphalt sports fields in the hills and valleys of Wales, many of them on coal tips left by redundant mines. At the end of 2007, having constructed sports fields for TigerTurf, with his then employer (South Wales Sports Grounds Contractors) in Wales, Neil joined TigerTurf in his homeland of Australia & was employed as construction manager in Queensland. Working in close collaboration with TigerTurf Australia during many years, Champion Sports Grounds was founded and is proud to be a preferred contractor for TigerTurf and a platinum agent & distributor using only TigerTurf synthetic grass. Our company enjoys a healthy lifestyle and bettering those of children and adults by providing exemplary sporting facilities.
