With over 40 years of professional experience, David Gorovic provides friendly but respectful counselling and therapy from his Canberra practice.
David specialises in helping clients with: anxiety disorders, PTSD, stress and anger management, relationship and sexual counselling, depression, habit control, life coaching and overcoming psychological impact of injury and trauma.

David has been utilizing EMDR (Eye Movement De-sensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy for almost 30 years to help people with PTSD (Complex and Simple) and especially adult victims of childhood abuse (sexual, physical, emotional) and neglect as well as those who grew up in dysfunctional families.

David has had specialist training in all of the conditions he treats, and has continued to update his skills and professional knowledge. Using the solution oriented Brief Therapy framework, the majority of David's clients achieve their desired outcomes within six to ten sessions.
