Here at Lakeside Golf Club Camden, we are strongly committed to enhancing and delivering the standard of service that has been Camden Lakeside's trademark since it’s inception in 1993. It has become a popular destination for all levels of golfers, both locally and from all over the world and provides the highest standard of service with an award winning Clubhouse and Function facilities. Lakeside Golf Club Camden is a par 72 course of 6400 meters and has been rated 73 (74 on Tiger Tees) by AGU. The only course in Sydney to be designed by five times British Open Winner Peter Thomson AO CBE and his design partners, Ross Perrett and Mike Wolveridge and is a links style course, embracing a traditional golfing heritage. Three tee positions are available to suit golfers of all levels and in addition, five tiger tees for the more adventurous. As sure as the great game of golf will forever entice people to play, so should you be reassured that Camden Lakeside will continue to operate as Sydney's finest Public Golf Course experience. Golfers who have enjoyed Thomson's other courses - Hope Island, Twin Waters, and Mirage Port Douglas - will recognise instantly the distinctive "Links" style of Camden Lakeside. The pot bunkers, perched greens, and fairway undulations are unique features among Australia's golf courses. The course finishes with a "Glory or Death" hole where the golfer has the choice to hit over a lake toward the green or play safely around the perimeter for par. Naturally, a practice range and putting green are part of the complex and a golf professional is happy to assist with coaching. All players are offered Electric Golf Carts. Clubs and Shoes are both available for hire and the well-stocked pro shop has a vast selection of equipment and sporting apparel available for sale.
