CADE Systems Pty. is a company, formed in 1982 to provide Structural Engineering consulting services to architects, designers, builders, owner builders and several corporate clients including The Timber Promotion Council of Victoria, The Timber Research and Development Council of Queensland, The Forest and Wood Products - Research and Development Council, Pine Australia and Tilling Timber Industries. Since inception, the company's aim has been to provide a comprehensive design service to all clients with written and printed documentation clearly and accurately presented. The development of computer software to aid in these endeavors has been foundation of several large technical programs commissioned by leaders in timber technology in Australia . Innovations in methods of data entry, methods of analysis and presentation of results have led to products which are often copied by others. The input, analysis, design and display methods used have been subject to comprehensive auditing by professional engineering staff of the CSIRO, (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization) - Building Research Division, located in Highett, Victoria. Software development has been carried out using the highly acclaimed development environment, ' Dephi ', which provides the necessary low and high level tools necessary to produce a sophisticated package suitable for engineering research, development and investigation. All software is written in-house by a team of dedicated practicing civil and structural engineers, with assistance from professional programmers.
