We provide advice, counselling and evidence-based treatment for a range of psychological disorders and conditions. Different forms of psychological therapy are provided depending on the nature of your problem.
The most effective therapy is chosen in collaboration with you following an initial comprehensive clinical assessment session, lasting 50 minutes. At the end of this initial meeting:

1. A provisional diagnosis is provided; 2) Your goals for therapy are discussed; 3) A tentative treatment plan is developed, including the recommended type of therapy likely to produce the best outcome.

EXTRA EXPERTISE IN TREATING LONG-TERM PROBLEMS, COUPLES THERAPY AND TRAUMA
Our psychologists are required to have a special area of interest in which they have undergone extra training. This allows us to offer specific therapies in addition to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches for common problems. These therapies include Schema Therapy for long-term issues, Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT) for relationship issues, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma.
