Bowman Johnson Hostel, South Brisbane, QLD

We were living at bowman johnson hostel it was ok at first the workers were helpful at the start then after a while you had to pretty much had to do things yourself for instant look for a place yourself get to doctor's appointment yourself the workers spend more time on the phone and expect the residents to clean up the hostel you have to attend meetings if not you will get a warning room inspection every fortnight,they say we don't kick anyone out but they go back on there word,the meals are ok at the start but then they go down hill,there trade mark are curried egg sandwiches and spaghetti bol full of oil,the rooms are small like a jail cell they give you furniture which is broken,you not aloud to go back if you have been drinking or have drugs in your system if you do you will be kicked out, if you a allergies don't expect them to care cause they don't, the washing machine's are fucked they always break down,they don't check the mail box to see if any residents have mail,if you have a car they will tell you to park on the grass or street cause your car is taking up space of the workers who work there,they don't like the residents having visitors unless it is your support,they make there own prices own rules the rent is meant to be $350 not $434 they will tell you to set up centrepay so they can take your money out,they watch what you doing they drive around westend to see if your drinking and hanging out with,more or less the hostel is like a jail,their mattress are uncomfortable they hurt ur back qnd girls take guys into there room and get away with it when ur not allowed to there is writing over the walls and cockroaches in the rooms and they ask the residents to clean up the hostel also clotheslines are broken the dryer doesn't get clean residents knock your door for smokes,money,etc
