Have shopped at both Boundy stores for 40 or so years and in all that time I have never had a complaint. Staff have always been friendly, courteous and obliging and I have been a loyal customer. Until today.Sat July 2 @ 12.20 The treatment I received today while ordering at small goods counter in Keilor Rd store was the worst i have experienced. Two girls serving in this area could not and would not stop their private conversation. When I asked one to serve me there was a grudging reply and the usual cheery time spent in this area was not evident. Immediately i exited this counter the private conversation resumed at a level whereby all close to this area could hear. If this is an indication of attitude of young part-time workers then some education is necessary.

Our family has been shopping at Boundies West Essendon Buckley St for 15 years. A few minutes ago we bought 2 items and lined up at the 12 items or less counter. The two people in front of us had a lot more than 12 items..After waiting our turn and when we pointed this out to the server , her response was a gruff "so what!". Our response was that we were just making a point.. and did she have a problem with that .. her response was a gain a gruff NO and HAVE A NICE DAY.. a simple acknowledgment and apology would have sufficed when we made our point.. Dissappointing indeed ;

A GREAT LOCAL GO TO SUPERMARKET WHICH HAS BEGUN TO STOCK ORGANIC FOODS WHICH GETS A BIG TICK FROM ME. THE STAFF, PARTICULARLY THE YOUNG ONES OFFER GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, ONE EXTREMELY BUBBLY AND FRIENDLY OLDER LADY ON CHECKOUT WHO HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN AN EMPLOYEE FOR A WHILE IS FANTASTIC (SORRY, CAN'T RECALL HER NAME) BUT THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OLDER ONES, PROBABLY AROUND MY AGE (60) WHO NEED TO RETIRE OR AT LEAST PUT A SMILE ON THEIR FACES :( AND BE LESS GRUMPY!!
