There are endless attractions in the immediate area to fill your day: sampling gourmet food and wines, skiing, horse riding at one of the nearby trial riding venues, 4WD tracks, trout fishing in alpine streams, enjoying nature walks and water falls in the nearby lush rain forests and panning for gold in historic gold mining towns.
