Berwick Eye and Surgicentre

Dr Ed Hauptman is professional, caring and polite....however Ms S**** L** nurse/receptionist is extremely rude, bossy and intimidating. I have seen her shout aggressively at elderly patients, treat other admin staff dreadfully, and have also seen her treat patients without a good grasp of English very badly. I have been at the brunt of her tongue more than once, the most recent: I waited patiently for some time at the reception desk only to be brushed aside when it was my turn when someone else came through the door, when I questioned this she waved her hand in my face as if I was of no concern and told me " you are not important, you can wait". The waiting time in this surgery is extensive I always put aside half a day for an appointment. My appointment at an E*** M******** Clinic yesterday was somewhat different: I was seen on time, treated with respect by all and was out of there in under an hour.
