The present owner Michael Lewchenko bought the business from Kevin Bennett in 2002 who was the grand son of the founder. The Bennett family presided over a trade that almost goes back to the beginning of the art of printing. Within the last century printing has evolved from highly skilled hand engravings and letterpress printing to modern digital and offset printing. Many local newspapers and historical books as well as day to day printing was done at the firm, but sadly in the mid 90s a fire destroyed the building and all the old records of Bennetts Printing.
