Benchmark Building Certifiers was established in 1999 following deregulation of the development assessment system in NSW. This occurred in 1998 with changes to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act that allowed privately accredited individuals to undertake certification of development. The managing directors of Benchmark Building Certifiers are Anthony Krilich and Robert Valades. Both are accredited certifiers under the NSW Building Professionals Board accreditation scheme. Robert and Anthony have extensive knowledge in New South Wales building regulations and the requirements of the building and development industry. In addition to this knowledge, both have previously worked in private industry and local government. The primary goal of Benchmark Building Certifiers has been to assist our clients with their development projects.
